2013 Edition: important moments and official language

“Startup Weekends are 54-hour events where developers, designers, marketers, product managers and startup enthusiasts come together to share ideas, form teams, build products, and launch startups!” — startupweekend.org

What are the important moments of the weekend?

All participants who want to pitch their idea have one minute to do so and to convince the others to join their team!

Teams and coaching
The participants vote for their preferred ideas and form teams. Professional coaches are available all weekend to help with business models, legal matters, technical issues and more.

On Saturday, our two guests will share their entrepreneurial experience with you through inspiring speeches!

Each team have 5 minutes to show off its work in front of our talented Jury.

What about languages?
This year we want the event to be cross-border and to stimulate the interaction of diverse cultures. Thus the official language will be English.

However, if you want to pitch your idea in French or German you may do so.

Also, there will be simultaneous translations from French and German to English at the Finales, so feel free to show off your work in the language you’re more comfortable with!
